This role is about more than just numbers - it's about insight, direction, and results. As a Data Analyst, you play a key role in transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that directly influence decision-making within the insurance industry.

You understand the unique dynamics of the sector - from risk analysis and claims management to customer segmentation and premium setting. Your analyses help identify trends, optimize processes, and improve customer understanding.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Collect and prepare data from various sources, ensuring it's clean, reliable, and analysis-ready.
  • Use statistical techniques to uncover trends, correlations, and outliers in the data.
  • Build dashboards and reports that present complex findings in a clear and visual way.
  • Communicate your insights effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teams to apply data to strategic and operational decision-making.

Why You're the Right Fit

You're analytical, technically skilled, and thrive in a data-driven environment. What sets you apart is your knowledge of the insurance sector - you understand how data impacts areas like pricing, policy management, risk evaluation, and customer behavior.

Beyond the technical side, you ask the right questions and know how to present your findings in a way that makes sense to business stakeholders. You're not just crunching numbers - you're creating clarity.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in the insurance industry is a must
  • Solid skills in SQL; knowledge of Python or R is a strong plus
  • Experience with visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar
  • Understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and statistical methods
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field (statistics, mathematics, computer science, etc.)
  • Fluent in Dutch or French, with a good command of English
